Doug Schon

Sculpture, Painting and Photography

Doug Schon is a native New Jersey visual artist, who studied clay and stone sculpture at The Parsons School of Design and The Art Students’ League respectively, while working at the Salvatore Ala Gallery in New York City and Milan, Italy.  He also studied Art History at Columbia University and attended the New York Studio School for Drawing, Painting and Sculpture.  He received a BA in Art from Thomas Edison State College, with a concentration in sculpture and taught art in inner-city public high schools and Pre-K and Kindergarten Art in a private school. He creates sculpture, paintings and photography.
