Anna Vranckx

Acrylic Paintings, Handcrafted Jewelry, Mixed Media and Sculpture

Anna Vranckx is a multi-faceted artist: she paints, sculpts, and makes jewelry. Her paintings show an impulsive artistic temperament with overlapping color fields. Her sculpted stylized figurative statues – “acrobats” – convey emotions of openness, communication, and friendship. The “acrobats” can also be seen in her sterling silver jewelry. She has exhibited in Belgium, The Netherlands, Italy, and the USA, participating in several juried, group, and solo shows. Anna’s work appeared in volume V of International Contemporary Masters 2011. Anna has her roots in Belgium, and holds a pedagogical degree from Turnhout, Belgium. She received her art education at the Academy of Arts in Antwerp, Belgium, the Academy of Fine Arts and Crafts in Oakland, California, and the Visual Arts Center in Summit, NJ.
